If you read a post that I did last year in which I was comparing different hair oils as part of Operation Rapunzel (see the post here), you'll know that I am a big fan of hair oils, and I'm not the only one. It's one of the most popular hair care products in the world and for good reason. Hair oils are packed with nourishing, repairing and protecting ingredients and you can use them in so many different ways; as a pre-wash treatment, mixed in with your conditioner for an extra intense moisture boost or for styling. Variety is the spice of life and I love to style my hair differently using either straighteners, a wand or my beloved Gladys the BaByliss Pro Perfect Curl, and whever my mood takes me, I'm careful to always use a heat protectant, and the product I have used the most recently is the Easilocks Rose Gold Oil Heat Protector Pro* (£24.99). Easilocks is an Ireland based company specialising in hair extentions made from 100% human hair that are applied with no damage to your natural hair, and there are also Easilocks certified salons located in the UK, Australia and the UAE. They also have a hair care range that works both for extensions and for natural hair, that includes products like shampoo and conditioner with Argan oil, a protein spray and the Rose Gold Oil Heat Protector Pro.
The Rose Gold Oil comes in a 150 ml plastic bottle with a pump, which is really practical since you don't have to worry about breaking it on the bathroom tiles, and it doesn't weigh much, an important consideration when you're traveling a fair bit, and if you prefer not to pour it into a smaller bottle. The essential oils in this product come from rose, carrot, chamomile, coconut, linseed, soybean and everybody's hair favorite - argan oil. This mix is a super charged blend of oils that together moisturise, prevent dehydration and retain moisturise, that soothe the hair and the scalp, that strengthen and that can even encourage hair growth. After you've washed your hair, just apply a few golden drop on the ends of your hair before you blowdry or style as usual.
This sounds like something I definitely need to try out!

It's a beautiful oil, and I especially like that it's not very oily or heavy :o). Xx
DeleteI am using 100% argan oil..but that does leave my hair heavy (a little) ...I guess trying this one would be a good idea... :)

The scent is absolutely fantastic, the best one out of the different hair oils I've ever tried :o). Xx
DeleteHave you tried Macadamia's Healing Oil Treatment? Ever since it was introduced to me I have been addicted! I don't think we have this product in Malta, but I will keep an eye out for it when I am in the UK cos it sounds like something I'd be intrigued to try :)

Hiya Kikka, yes it's another favorite of mine. It's a lovely nut smelling oil :o). Xx
DeleteThe best thing about this is I feel the pump. It makes it whole lot convenient to use! I may like this product, but well, it's not available in my country :|

Absolutely, and I really appreciate products that make it easy for you :o). Xx
DeleteThis sounds fantastic, plus it's a heat protector too. I'm currently using one from L'Oreal which doesn't really seem to do anything. I am long overdue a new heat protector and this sounds right up my street as my hair is very fine and oils often weigh it down.

I've tried one form L'Oréal Elvive Extraordinary oil and really disliked the texture it made my hair oily and greasy... Xx
DeleteHi Charlotte, I hope you are well. I know I say this all the time but oh MAN I really need to do something with my hair and I should try out this products, I think I'm just waiting for my hair to get a little bit longer before I even think of styling it!

:o) - I guess you could use it as an after wash treatment as well - the scent alone is enough to use it all the time :o). Xx
DeleteSounds great, I'm really into hair oils and I'm currently using John Frieda Frizz-ease' s heat protect, it smells great and leaves my hair so soft. :)
